Abstracts
The abstract CD Rom contains all the abstracts which have been accepted by the Local Organising Committee. Companies and participants may copy material for their personal use; further copy for sale or for any other commercial purpose is prohibited without prior permission of the editor. The abstract CD has an ISBN (International Standard Book Number). Therefore, the CD is a document with clear identification and a citable repository.

Badge
Each participant will receive a name badge at the registration desk. The badge will be the official meeting document and should be worn at all times in order to gain entry into the meeting rooms and the exhibition halls. With a delegate’s badge, participation will be granted into Scientific Symposia, Workshops, Free Communications, What’s New Sessions, Plenary Lectures, Test Yourself Sessions, Satellite Symposia and Meet the Expert Sessions. Neither exhibitors nor accompanying persons are allowed to attend the scientific sessions. Access will not be possible into any of the Congress areas without an official badge. For forgotten badges, a day pass for € 20 will be issued. Lost badges will be reissued for a handling and production fee of € 30.

Your badge will feature a bar code containing your full address and e-mail. It is your decision whether you wish to disclose these details to exhibitors with a bar code scanner.
Vouchers for Courses and Lunch Sessions that have been booked will be handed out with the registration materials. Every delegate is asked to check if all vouchers for services booked are contained within his/her congress materials after receiving them. Later objections will not be accepted. These vouchers allow the delegate to attend Courses and Lunch Sessions that have been booked and paid in addition to the registration fee. The participation in Courses or Lunch Sessions is only possible for participants that have registered for the congress or have paid for a day ticket. Kindly note that lost or forgotten vouchers will not be refunded.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation of participation until 15 March 2007 the registration fee will be refunded deducting a handling fee of € 15 per person. After 15 March 2007 there will be no refund whatsoever. For name changes a € 15 handling fee will be charged in any case. € 15 will be charged for the rewriting of invoices. All refunds will be made within 2 months after the end of the congress. Possible bank charges might be deducted.
Congress Registration
Registration is only valid if the complete payment of the conference fee as well as of other services booked has been effected. Registration on site is possible during the entire congress within the opening hours of the registration desk. On-site only credit cards and cash payment will be accepted. When registering at lower fees, a valid proof of status has to be presented on site. Please note that seats for Courses and Lunch Sessions are limited.

The Austria Center Vienna offers numerous high quality, modern conference facilities and vast exhibition areas. A range of useful extras is located on site and in the immediate vicinity. The Center hosts a wide variety of facilities such as shops, cafés and a bank counter as well as parking decks. A direct subway line (U1) links up the ACV with Vienna downtown within 5 to 10 minutes. Catering Facilities
Complimentary delegate coffee and tea will be served from special tea and coffee points within the exhibition halls during designated times. Delegates must exchange their coffee break vouchers (enclosed in registration documents) to get complimentary refreshments (coffee, tea and water). Kindly note that lost or forgotten vouchers will not be refunded.

CME
All participants are asked to complete the CME / evaluation forms available at the entrance to each session. Please also check at the CME checkpoint in the entrance hall that your address is correctly registered.
Electricity
In Austria electricity is supplied at 220V, 50Hz. For some devices from countries abroad converters will be needed.

The information desk will be located in the entrance hall on Level 0 (Yellow) next to the registration area.
Insurance
Neither the EADV nor the PCO accept any liability for damages and/or losses of any kind which may be incurred by the congress participants or by any persons accompanying them, both during the official activities and excursions. Delegates participate in all tours/events at his/ her own risk. Participants are advised to take out insurances against loss, accidents or damage that could be incurred during the congress. Verbal agreements will not be binding unless they are confirmed in writing. Sole place of jurisdiction is Vienna. Austrian law is applicable.
Internet access
W-Lan will be available within the exhibition halls as well as in Foyer D (Level -1, Blue). Details about the login will be displayed on site. The Internet Café is located in Hall X (booth X070).
Language
The official convention language is English. No translation at all.
Lost and Found
Please hand in all found items and ask for lost items at the registration desk in the entrance hall.
Media Check/Speakers Preview
Alls session rooms are equipped with computer projection. Speakers are asked to hand in their presentations at least 3 hours before the speech in the media check (blue level, room H633/632/631). Speakers having a presentation during the first time slot in the morning are asked to hand in their slides the day before.

Messages and Meeting Point
Delegates can leave messages on the board located in the entrance area of Exhibition Hall Z. This place will also be the official meeting point for the Congress.
Mobile Phones
Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited within the scientific session halls. Please ensure you have your mobile phone switched off when attending a session.
Photos
Photos will be taken during the sessions, events and within the exhibition. The pictures will be displayed and can be bought on the right gallery - Level 1 (Green).
Poster area
Scientific posters will be displayed in Hall XL.
The size of your poster should not exceed A0 Oversize (88,2 cm width, 124,7cm height).
Posters may be set-up on 16 May 2007, 14.00-20.00 and 17 May 2007, 8.00-12.00 (latest).
Posters should be removed on 19 May 2007 between 12.00 and 16.00 (latest). Posters not removed at this time will be discarded. Posters and other material can not be sent to you after the conference.
A poster information desk will be located at the entrance to the poster area. Lists indicating title, author and poster number will be displayed at the desk. Adhering strips for fixing the poster on the board will be available, please contact the hostess. The poster desk staff will be at your disposal to answer your question and provide help locating the poster on site. Please do not use your own adherence materials! In case of negligence claims for compensation may be raised.

Speakers lounge
The speakers lounge is located next to foyer GH in the rooms G561/560 (Level -1, Blue). Please wear the badge visibly, since status will be checked at the entrance.
Transportation
The full paid Congress badge allows delegates & accompanying persons to use public transportation within Vienna from Wednesday, 16 May, until Saturday, 19 May 2007. Please note that the badge has to be presented in conjunction with a photo ID within the means of transport when asked by the officer.

Taxis are usually stationed near the Congress Center. Please contact the officers at the information desk in the main entrance for calling a taxi.
Getting to the ACV:
By public transport: To reach the ACV from the city center (Stephansplatz) take the U1 underground line (red). Get off at Vienna International Centre/Kaisermühlen and take the exit marked Schüttaustraße. Travelling time: approx. eight minutes. By taxi: riding time Downtown-ACV: approx. 15–20 minutes, please negotiate the fare before your ride.

In May the weather in Vienna is usually warm. Average temperatures are 18°C during the day. During the night it can be cold.
